Credit Controller

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to manage customer accounts and ensure timely payment for the services we provide. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow while building strong, professional relationships with our customers.

What you’ll do

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring invoices are paid in line with agreed terms

• Proactively chase outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written communication

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage prompt payment

• Investigate and resolve invoice queries and disputes quickly and effectively

• Monitor aged debt and escalate overdue accounts where necessary

• Negotiate payment plans where appropriate

• Maintain accurate records of all communications and account activity

• Work closely with internal teams (e.g. sales, customer success, senior management) to resolve issues impacting payment

• Support month-end reporting, including debtor reports and cash collection forecasts

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce outstanding debt

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in a credit control, accounts receivable, or collections role

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Confident and professional when dealing with customers

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise workload

• Comfortable using finance systems and Excel

• A proactive and organised approach
